Who are we?
Island City Church (Hong Kong) is a local church which was birthed for the express purpose of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ.
In keeping with the New Testament pattern, we are an inter-denominational, eldership governed autonomous church in relationship with an apostolic team called New Covenant Ministries International.
Through shared vision and values we are linked to thousands of churches around the world. We believe it is the church's mandate to "disciple nations" through planting New Testament churches in every village, town, and city (Matthew 28:18-20). To this end, Island City Church is committed to equip and train people and leaders with an apostolic/prophetic vision and commission them to reach the nations (Ephesians 4:12).

A Bit of History
Island City Church was planted in late 1995. We originally met above the Fringe Club (where we were briefly known as The Studio Church) but moved to the Glenealy School Library soon after that.
With a heart for this locality we began having regular services and prayer meetings on the streets of Lan Kwai Fong in 1996 and in the following year we moved into the Ho Lee Building.
In 2003 we moved again to a much larger venue in Jubilee Street. Part of our continuing vision for this community is to build a church that breaks down cultural walls. To this end we aspire to be a church that welcomes and includes people from all ethnic groups and nationalities. We trust that whatever your background, you will feel welcome here!
